Volunteers needed to help with the Covid-19 vaccination programme

Thousands of volunteers are needed urgently to support the most vulnerable and help the NHS deliver the large-scale Covid-19 vaccination programme safely and quickly

There are many ways you can help with the Covid-19 vaccination programme, within your community or at home. Tasks are varied and include stewarding at a vaccination centre, shopping for someone who is shielding, or phoning someone who is isolated for a friendly chat.

Always consider your own level of risk when volunteering, and follow guidance on volunteering safely. Every hour of time spent volunteering will make a huge difference to someone's life, and help support your community.

Paralympic squad archer, Dave Phillips, was thrilled to have his first Covid-19 jab. He said: Â"Covid-19 stopped me from training at Lilleshall and travelling to Dubai for the Fazza International, as I am in the vulnerable category and shielding.”  Visit Archery GB's Facebook page for a video of Dave receiving his jab.
