Statement from Archery GB regarding Archery NI

Archery GB has released the following statement regarding Archery NI and the setting up of a new regional committee structure in Northern Ireland.

"Archery GB has made multiple attempts to engage with the Archery NI Board to arrange a meeting and continues to await a response. While we remain open to dialogue, we will not respond to or engage with inaccurate or derogatory commentary on social media.

"At the heart of everything we do is a deep commitment to our members. Their passion, dedication, and involvement are the lifeblood of our community. We are resolute in ensuring that every member feels valued, heard, and supported.

"Supporting this new framework means embracing collaboration, welcoming fresh perspectives, and ensuring that every voice has a place at the table. At the same time, we remain steadfast in our responsibility to uphold the integrity of the sport.

"Our approach is grounded in the highest standards of fairness, safety, and respect — on and off the range. We are committed to fostering an environment where the spirit of archery thrives and where every decision is guided by our core values.

"Together, with our members and future committees, we will continue to build a future that honours our past while embracing the promise of what lies ahead."
