We are pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Priestman as the Archery GB National Coach.

Of national and international renown and with a proven track record of winning medals at major international competitions with several nations over many years, Richard has been instrumental in the growing international competitiveness of GB archers over the last 2 years.

Richard will continue leading this area of work, but his role has been widened to better connect coaching and athlete progress across the whole national governing body & home countries.

Following some restructuring within AGB, he will now also provide technical oversight and mentoring support to the Paralympic coaching and performance support team. He will further provide technical and competition planning oversight for Pathway programmes through the Pathway Coaching Team and he will provide some technical and delivery support to the AGB Coaching Strategy.

We are pleased to have secured the further services of someone with Richard’s calibre and we are excited by the opportunity that such a role affords our work and programmes to better connect and collaborate to the benefit and progress of archers and coaches.
