The journey to Los Angeles has begun. For the next four years, Archery GB's world class programme will welcome an exciting team of para athletes, including familiar faces and some new contenders aiming for the LA Games.
As with the Olympic archery competition, the Paralympic archery will be held at Dignity Health Sports Park, the stadium in Carson, California. The home of the LA Galaxy football team is capable of housing 27,000 seats for football, American football, concerts, and now, archery for the Paralympic and Olympic Games.
Many of our para athletes will continue their Paralympic journeys looking ahead towards 2028, including two-time Paris medallist Jodie Grinham, and mixed team champion Nathan Macqueen. They will be joined by Tokyo compound open women’s champion Phoebe Paterson Pine, and Paris Paralympian Victoria Kingstone.
Joining them on the programme will be some exciting, new athletes as well as returning, past Paralympians who are ready to strive for Paralympic spaces at the upcoming international competitions for our country.
Interim Performance Director, Rachel Bayley, said: "I am proud to announce the Performance Archery Para National Squad for 2025. It's exciting to see the squad's strong depth and quality maintained as we look ahead to Los Angeles, supported by exceptional talent poised to continue competing at the highest level and challenging the best in the world.
"Growth remains a priority, and I'm thrilled to welcome three new athletes to the programme, each bringing potential and contributing significant value and depth to our programme. Their progression through our talent pathway is a testament to the dedication of themselves, coaches and staff who have guided them on their journey to the world class programme."
