British Target Championships

The British Target Championships will be held on 8-9 August 2020 repeating the format from previous years.

Saturday 8 August

Tier 1 – World record status, World archery 50/70m round, followed by head to heads. A cut will be made to the round of 1/32

Barebows will shoot the new WA50m-122 round


Sunday 9 August

Tier 2 + event World record status World Archery 1440-star rounds.

Compounds and recurves will shoot on individual six zone 80cm faces at 50 and 30m. Barebows and longbows will shoot on a full single 80cm face at both 50m and 30m.



National Trophies and the Championship Title will be awarded to the highest placed British Archery GB member. After the presentation, all trophies must be returned to the Tournament Organiser.

Medals will be awarded on the following basis in all disciplines:

  • 1 – 3 entries – 1st
  • 4 – 6 entries – 2nd
  • 7 – 9 entries – 3rd
