January Challenge 2020 Results

March 10th 2020
Sophie Meering

This year there were 2169 scores submitted for the January Challenge...now it's time for results!

Overall the proportions were once again virtually the same, with 70% of scores shot by men and 30% by women; this was again reflected in each bow style (though ladies shot a higher proportion in Barebow, and gentlemen in Compounds).

The ratios by bow style are virtually unchanged: 56% recurve, 14% compound, 19% in Barebow, 11% in Longbow. 174 clubs submitted scores, again slightly down on last year; several new clubs appeared. It was also very pleasing that University clubs continue to be represented.

Congratulations to all who took part and a special thank you to Nick Beeson, who volunteers his time to ensure that the January Challenge results get to us.
