Club and Volunteer Awards

Wilfred Bowmen

Archery GB's newly-combined annual awards and ontarget Club and Volunteer Awards are now open and we are seeking nominations – who would you like to see rewarded for their role in archery?

After extraordinary efforts to sustain and develop our sport through the last year, Archery GB is keen to highlight and recognise volunteers through a new system of refreshed annual awards, combined with the ontarget awards. Nominations are open now and you can access the form here. We will close nominations on 31 July 2021

The awards align to Archery GB’s vision of Enriching Lives Through Archery, and the values we want the archery community to aspire to: value people for who they are and the contribution they make; choose to work and learn together; strive for excellence; always act with integrity.

There is a section for individuals and a section for organisations such as clubs, counties, regions or other organisations delivering archery.

Nominations will need to fulfil the criteria outlined in the Archery GB Awards Information (also available in the Documents section below) in order to be shortlisted. An awards presentation evening will be held in September to announce and celebrate the winners. Who do you know that deserves recognition?

Preparing your nomination

To help you prepare to make a nomination, as well as more straightforward questions, the sections to answer are:

  1. Please sum up in no more than 150 words why you are nominating this person, or club/organisation
  2. What has been this person or club/organisation’s greatest achievement, and how has this impacted on archery? Any evidence, statistics you can provide in this section will be useful. (150 words max)
  3. What makes this person, or club/organisation stand out from those around them? (100 words)

If you feel that an individual or the club deserves recognition, please take the time to consider nominating them.

Please refer to the Archery GB Awards Information in the Documents section below.
