Archery makes strong case for special consideration when lockdown restrictions lifted

Archery GB has written to key politicians outlining the strong case for returning to archery post-lockdown.

As the government considers how the country can emerge safely from the current lockdown restrictions, and looks to allow participation in sport activities that are naturally socially-distanced as early as next month, Neil Armitage, CEO at Archery GB, has written to key politicians outlining the strong case for the special consideration of archery.

Indoor archery restrictions reduced in England and Wales

From 17 May restrictions on indoor archery have been reduced in England and Wales meaning more people can participate in the sport. Covid guidance is still in place for both indoor and outdoor ranges but this latest stage of the government's roadmap sees archery getting one step closer to being fully reopened.
