Archery GB job vacancy – Performance Coach (x3 roles available)

Following a coaching review, the Performance Archery World Class Programme (WCP) is seeking to recruit 3 x Performance Coaches to work across the Olympic and Paralympic programmes.

Job title: Performance Coach (x3 roles available)

Salary: £30,000-£35,000

Location: Lilleshall National Sports Centre, Shropshire

In recognition of the increased athlete numbers within the Performance Archery WCP, we are seeking to increase our coaching resource. The changes are focused both on direct athlete support as well as how coaches are developed and supported to enhance the impact of coaching on athlete progress.

The new coaching structure reflects the future direction of the performance culture and the needs of a modern performance athlete, whereby we are seeking to drive performance standards in an engaging, supportive, and collaborative way.

The following Performance Coach positions will be introduced to offer more direct and impactful coaching support within the Daily Training Environment (DTE) and at international competitions.

  • 2 x Performance Coach(s) (Olympic Programme - FT)
  • 1 x Performance Coach (Paralympic Programme - 0.8 FTE)

Supporting the performance of athletes across the Paralympic and Olympic programme on the world stage, our Performance Coaches will contribute to the enhancement of a performance culture and provision of high-quality coaching support through:

  • Performance coaching delivery to athletes
  • Performance Support coordination for athletes
  • Role modelling of coaching components
