Archery GB Job Vacancy – National Development Manager

Are you keen to take the lead on the delivery of projects across the UK? Are you passionate about influencing others and driving change? Our new role of National Development Manager for Archery GB could be for you.

Job Title:             National Development Manager

Salary Range:     £30,000-£35,000

Location:            Home based with some travel nationally, including to Lilleshall National Sports Centre, Shropshire

As part of the Participation Team you will support Archery GB by successfully delivering projects and programmes through our regional network of development officers. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate individual who has the drive to support, implement and lead change at every level in the sport from member to NGB achieving our vision of enriching lives through archery.

The successful candidate would also have relevant experience in budget management, collaboration and negotiation skills and the ability to line manage existing staff.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead the delivery and implementation of club development and archer recruitment initiatives across the club network.
  • Manage the regional staff and oversee the development of local plans to assist clubs to recruit, retain and empower archers, volunteers, and those who deliver archery.
  • Influence and lead change to promote good practice across the archery infrastructure.
