Archery GB Job Vacancy - Legacy Coordinator (part-time)

Archery GB is seeking to appoint a part-time Legacy Coordinator to deliver legacy ambitions for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. The role will be 7 hours per week in addition to the direct delivery of archery activities.

Job Title:            Legacy Coordinator (part-time)

Salary Range:    £20,000-£24,000. Between 7-14 hours per week. 0.2-0.4 full time equivalent.

Location:            Home based with some travel across the West Midlands.

Although archery is not in this year's Games, Archery GB has been fortunate to be awarded funding from Sport England to support the drive towards reducing inequalities in sport.

The Legacy Coordinator will work with targeted communities across the West Midlands and England to coordinate and deliver archery activities that increase participation, retention, and tackle inequalities in participation.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with local communities to support or develop and deliver programmes that demonstrate the social impact of sport.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Implement the B2022 project plan supporting under-represented groups, and work with local partners and existing events to promote archery as a go-to sport.
  • Increase knowledge, insight, and participation of archery as a sport in ethnically diverse communities.
  • Increase the number and quality of aligned coaches and volunteers within ethnically diverse communities.
