Archery GB is pleased to announce that archery clubs in England can reopen from 2 December.
The new tier restrictions allow both indoor and outdoor archery to continue with some changes to the current guidelines.
To help you to understand the changes and feel safe while you shoot AGB have rewritten our guidance for clubs, coaches and members.
We’ve also produced a downloadable table so you can see at a glance what you can do and how to minimise the risks to yourself and others.
You can read the full guidance here for a more detailed explanation of what you can do in each tier.
We’ve already shared the graphic with club secretaries and are running a webinar with club officials so that when clubs can reopen we can continue to maintain social distancing and reduce the opportunities for transmission.
If you’re unable to get to the range we have a full calendar of AGB webinars on a variety of topics and plenty of videos on our social media accounts to get you through the winter months.
We know that different parts of Great Britain face different restrictions so we will continue to update the guidance for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland on our website whenever the situation changes.
Finally, we will soon be releasing details of our virtual winter competitions following the summer 360 which hundreds of archers took part in. If you’ve never taken part in a virtual competition before we’ll have a video guide to show you how to take part and submit your score.
We can’t wait to get back to the range but if you have any questions before you return please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
