Board Vacancies - Elected Director
Board Vacancies – Elected Directors
Would you like to help shape the future of our sport? Have you ever wanted to be in the driving seat at Archery GB? Do you have the skills and determination to drive our sport forward? If the answer is yes, you should take note of the following:
We are looking to recruit four Elected Director positions. Several current Board members come to the end of their initial term next year (although some may seek re-election). All Elected Director positions are open to all members of AGB who have been a member for at least 2 years at the time of application. The term of this appointment will run from AGM 2020 to AGM 2024.
The Board is required to maintain a balance of skills and experience amongst its members and this will be taken into account by the Nominations Committee when reviewing applications.
An Advert for the role can be downloaded at the bottom of the page where you will also find additional paperwork as required.
How to apply for Elected Director position
Please send your CV and letter of application by email (including your full name, membership number and length of membership) to firstname.lastname@example.org. We would be grateful if you were specific about your activities in developing archery in ethnic communities. Please note that you are required to have been a member for at least two years to be eligible to apply. Requests for informal/confidential discussions can also be sent to this email address. Your application must be supported by three Electors (electors are defined in the M&As (part 2, clause 7)). Each of these Electors should send an email of support, including your name, to email@example.com, giving their full name & membership number.
