Field Archery Program Coordinator

We are seeking expressions of interest to develop our Field Archery programme to deliver growth opportunities in Participation, Pathway progress and international Performance achievements across Barebow, 3D, Compound and Recurve.

Role:  Field Archery Co-ordinator (up to 30 days per year)

Contract Type:  Consultancy - Part Time - Fixed term

Daily Rate:  Consultancy rate to be agreed

Location:  Homebased and Lilleshall National Sports Centre.

Archery GB is the governing body for the sport of archery in Great Britain and Northern Ireland and serves eight regional societies.

A new project opportunity has arisen to develop and drive our Field Archery programme on a contract basis to July 2019.

We are seeking expressions of interest to develop our Field Archery programme to deliver growth opportunities in Participation, Pathway progress and international Performance achievements across Barebow, 3D, Compound and Recurve.

We are looking for expressions of interest from individuals/organisations with:

  • Good knowledge of best standards and practices in Archery and in particular, Field Archery.
  • Extensive and demonstrable knowledge of the coaching methodology required across a variety of archers and bow types
  • Extensive and demonstrable knowledge of the coaching process for technical/skill-based sports.
  • Experience of successfully supporting and delivering training and competition programmes and of running Field events
  • Experience of the integration of support science, medicine to bring about measurable performance achievements.
