Update – Addendum to the 2018 Youth Recurve Selection Policy

Within the context of our focus on developing athletes to be internationally competitive for the 2019 World Championships (the primary qualification opportunity for the 2020 Olympic Games), Archery GB has published an addendum to the 2018 youth recurve selection policy which provides for cadet athletes to compete at 70m during the selection process.

This decision is taken to promote consistency in training programmes which are designed to optimise the individual long-term development journeys of young athletes across the Pathway.

Compound Selection Shoot for World Cup 4 and European Championships

The Compound Selection Shoot for World Cup 4 and European Championships will take place on Saturday 16 June at Lilleshall, as per the criteria outlined in the Senior Compound Selection Policy 2018. There will be no Recurve Selection Shoot required for the same event, as per the criteria set out in the Senior Recurve Selection Policy. The team announcement will be made as per the timelines noted in the respective selection documents.
