FAQs

I have found my nearest club on the website using 'Club Finder' but it does not have any contact details?

If the club has not provided the Clubfinder with contact details, they would usually have full details on their club website.

How do I find a Beginner's Course or arrange to have Taster Sessions?

You need to contact a local archery club that you are interested in joining, and they will arrange these for you.

At what age does a Junior become a Senior?

For competitions/tournament purposes, a Junior is classed as a Senior and has to shoot as a Senior, the day he/she becomes 18 years of age.

For Archery GB subscription purposes, a Junior will remain a Junior until the start of the next subscription year (01 October) following their birthday. At that time, Senior 18-24 fees must be paid, and the member can no longer join a club only for Junior members so must join through a different club if this applies.
