The countdown to this year's Big Weekend has started - and it's a fantastic way for you to inspire people to try our sport!
It will run from 3 to 5 June - that's just a few days after the European Archery Festival in Nottingham - and is a brilliant way of raising your club and the sport's profile in your area in the run-up to Rio.
It is also a great opportunity to get your family and friends involved, either by helping out at your event or shooting a few arrows for themselves. And we all know that once you try it, you are hooked!
The Big Weekend, which is again supported by Foresters Friendly Society, gives clubs the chance to give something back to their communities and attract new members - as well as having fun.
It is easy to sign up, just go to www.archerygb.org/bigweekend for everything you need, including resources and promotional tools. Last year, 80 clubs hosted events and felt the benefit. As an added incentive, if you sign up by 18 April, there will be free T-shirts for volunteers and goodie bags of prizes for visitors!
