Congratulations to Paralympian Fred Stevens who has been presented with a well-earned Torch Trophy Trust award.
The Paralympian was nominated by Archery GB for all the hard work he has put in as a coach and for being a driving force behind WheelPower, the national charity for wheelchair sport.
Fred, who represented Great Britain at the Beijing Paralympics, has also led archery at the Inter Spinal Unit Games, Time to Shine and supported LimbPower and the British Wheelchair Archery Association.
As well as his role as an archery ambassador at these events, Fred also works as an engineer, helping to develop assistive devices that enable archers to shoot independently.
Fred works tirelessly to ensure everyone at a grassroots level can find solutions to any difficulties to access sport.
The Torch Trophy Trust identifies and honours sporting volunteers who ordinarily would neither gain nor seek recognition for their work with sports clubs and individual athletes in their local communities.
