Archery GB's selection shoot for the European Para-Archery Championships in Challans, France, is over. And the competition for the chance to represent Great Britain proved fierce.
Tania Nadarajah topped recurve women's open qualification and held on to her lead throughout three days of head-to-head round Robins. Amanda George was the second seed, but on days two and three, was behind Kate Murray. But she pulled it back on the last day to secure second spot overall. David Phillips topped the men's qualifiers, just ahead of Paul Browne and that is how it stayed throughout the competition.
It was a similar story in the compound open competition, John Stubbs was the top men's seed, with 689 points - six ahead of closest rival Mikey Hall. It finished with John scoring a cumulative total of 2,621, ahead of Mikey's 2,565. And it was first and second all the way for Jodie Grinham and Phoebe Pine.
On-form Jess Stretton led throughout the W1 women's competition, just ahead of Jo Frith, while it was one and two all the way for John Walker and John Cavanagh.
