Archery GB is delighted to announce the appointment of Richard Priestman as Senior Olympic Coach. He is tasked with getting GB athletes qualified for Rio and then being competitive at the Games.
Richard, a double Olympic medallist, (team bronze in Seoul and Barcelona) is well equipped to meet the challenge, having previously been GB national coach. He has also been Head Coach in Brazil, Bangladesh and, most recently Colombia, leading its archers to international success and Olympic qualification.
Richard is a well-respected figure across World Archery and much sought after for both his coaching and equipment expertise.
Performance Director David Tillotson said: "This is a statement of intent from Archery GB that we will address all areas in our ambition to be competitive and successful in major competitions. Richard is a proven coach of the highest order and we are very pleased to have him join us and bring his significant experience, skills and knowledge to bear on our programme and athletes."
