Parents also got involved they were invited, for the first time, to see what goes on in skills and drills, under the expert eye of Archery GB's new Strength and Conditioning lead practitioner, Rob Norman. It also marked the start of a new performance parents programme which is set to evolve over the coming years.
Performance Pathways Manager, Ceri Ann Davies said: "July and August are always very busy for our Talent Team. With so many young archers determined to work hard to become Olympic champions, archery is in a healthy place.
"We are particularly looking forward to the Academies Cup on 24 August and all are welcome to watch this event. We are also hosting our inaugural Performance Pathways Workshop on Saturday and pleased to say all regions and Home Nations are sending delegations. This workshop is based on Performance Pathway Alignment.
"I am very proud to be leading a great team of people at such an exciting time in the sport."
