And Ashe Morgan came oh so close to adding another bronze in the individual junior recurve contest, squeezed into fourth place by Russia's Bolot Tsybzhitov who won 6-4 after a tense match.
Jordan added junior mixed team bronze to his haul after a hard-fought campaign with Georgina Brown - and it could have been a very different story if they had not been hampered by equipment failure. It meant they each did the bronze double after winning their team events with Rebecca Blewit, Daisy Clark and Jon Bull and Jake Burn respectively.
There were cracking performances too from our other young squad members. Compound cadets James Howell, James Passingham and Matthew Ingram were denied a place in the semi finals by Italy and the junior recurve team of Ashe Morgan, Jack Grogan and Jake Burn shared their fate, beaten by Russia.
Recurve cadet Thomas Howse beat Slovenia's Peter Pozer to reach the last 32 before coming unstuck against France's Romain Fitchet while Bryony Pitman beat Georgia's Ana Dumbadze for a place in the last 16 where she fell victim to the strong Russian Tuyana Dashidorzhieva. Junior Kieran Slater fell foul of Ernesto Horacio Boardman of Mexico.
There were some tough matches for our female compounders. Junior Daisy Clark lost 126-138 to Stephanie Sarai Salinas of Mexico, while Georgina Brown lost out to Stephanie's teammate Abril Lopez 135-137 and Rebecca Blewitt was defeated by Ecem Cansu Coskun of Turkey 129-140. Cadet Kirsten George made it to the quarter finals but then went down 138-141 to Degryse Lena Meynen of Belgium. Rebecca Lennon was beaten to a quarter final spot by Ukraine's Mariya Shkolna and Marsie Henderson-Hirst lost out to Mexican Ali Citlalli Castillo.
