Telford to take over World Cup duties from Nimes!

Next year the Nimes Shoot is being replaced as the penultimate leg of the 2013/14 season Indoor World Cup. And the new venue? Telford International Centre, Shropshire, which will host the European Archery Festival from 24 to 26 January.

Around 1,500 archers are expected at the event, and the prize fund is expected to top 25,000 euros.

Competition manager Jon Nott extends a welcoming invitation: "We know how to run tournaments - but that's not enough. We're already looking at ways to improve the event, the experience… give it that something extra across the board. We hope you'll join us in 2014."
