He takes over from Tim Hazell who stepped down in October to spend more time with his family.
Mike, who was the London 2012 Technical Coach, said: "I'm really grateful for the opportunity Archery GB have given me and very thankful for the faith they have shown in me.
The Paralympic squad is a great group of athletes and I truly look forward to working with them as we move towards Rio 2016.
I've been coaching here in the UK and around the world for well over a decade now but yes this is my first full time role which is a great challenge and I'm looking forward to it."
