Traffic to the Archery GB website is up this year, and an average of 4,500 people read the web pages every day - soaring to 20,000 a day during the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics!
Archery GB chairman Dave Harrison said: "It's fantastic news! We have all seen how many people are flocking to beginners' courses and applying to join clubs. This just proves it the high level of interest in our wonderful sport.
"The number of people discovering archery puts us in a great position as we move into 2013 and I am very excited about the future."
The results placed archery ahead of 100-metre sprint, gymnastics, cycling and swimming. In fact, the only sports which managed to beat archery were synchronised swimming, murderball, wheelchair basketball and volleyball.
