Field Archery Advisory Group Vacancy

The FAAG, formally known as the Field Committee, is looking for an additional member of the group.

Following the appointment of John Hartfield to the position of Chair there is now a vacancy on the FAAG and applications are sought from archers to participate in this group.

 

The current Advisory Group has 4 members with the following profiles;

  • John Hartfield is based in England, shoots Recurve and Compound
  • Jonathan Shales is based in England and has represented UK very frequently over the last 25 years shooting Recurve
  • Tracey Hill lives in Wales and has represented UK frequently over the last 12 years shooting both Recurve and Compound
  • Robert Nesbitt is located in Northern Ireland and represents the views of the archers in that region

Ideally, the additional person will have attributes and experiences that complement the existing FAAG members and will provide valuable input into the views and direction of the group for representation to Archery GB.

The group provides input and guidance to the Archery GB organisation on all matters concerning Field archery including criteria for UK team representation, training events, recommendation on rules and general operating requirements for the sport. It also acts as an interface between the archers participating in the sport and the governing body, questions and issues can be raised with the group by emailing the chairman of the FAAG.
