Sport Makers

No ALT tag specified

Sport Makers are, quite simply, people who make sport happen. Some might organise sport informally for themselves and their friends, colleagues or neighbours and others won't take part themselves, but will do all those things that make sport possible.

Becoming a Sport Maker will give you the knowledge, information and connections to get better at making sport happen. You will be one of 40,000 like-minded people who are making a difference to the lives of their friends, colleagues or local community.
You will be helping to deliver the official London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games sporting legacy, Places People Play, by helping more people play more sport.

And you will be having a good time doing it.

• Register at www.sportmakers.co.uk

• Use the Club Finder, enter your postcode and find your local archery club.

• Contact the club to find out whether they can accommodate you.

• Tell your friends when and where the beginner's course is, come along to the club and try archery with your friends.

• That's all it takes to be an Archery Sport Maker: we hope it's a lot of fun for you and everyone who's now trying archery!
