The 2012 Handicap Improvement Medal winners were not published in the 2013 Spring edition of Archery UK because following such a successful 2012 we decided to combine our Spring edition with our Year Book

In order to fill the tournament field, entries are being opened up to allow counties to enter additional teams of any discipline.

At the April Meeting, the Board supported the decision by Performance to make selection shoots open with appropriate qualifying scores to provide more opportunities for members to compete and display their talent. It also understood the need to make these shoots financially viable and supported the business rationale to levy an entry fee.

The Board discussed fully the Strategic Plan for 2013-2017 and approved it. The plan will be available in the Documents section (look in Governance and then General Documents) and will be summarised in Archery UK. The plan was also presented at the AGM and the presentations for that are also available in the Documents section of the web site (look in Governance and then AGM 2013).

Archery GB is always looking for ways to help our clubs and shape the services and support we offer.

Join in the 2013 Summer of Sport! Following the success of last year's event, the Archery Big Weekend is back on 24, 25 and 26 August 2013!

Applications are now being accepted for the next Archery GB Talent Selection.

The Board recognised that social media is playing an increasing part of our communications pathways and that there was a need to introduce a policy to provide mechanisms against misuse. It approved the new Public Social Media Policy.
